Welcome to the Lowry Swim Club!

Dear Lowry Swim Club Members,

For more than two decades, the Lowry Swim Club has been a cherished part of summer in our neighborhood – a place where friendships have formed, kids have grown up, and families have found an easy sense of community. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has made the pool what it is: our members, volunteers, staff, and a generation of swimmers who have filled the pool deck with energy and joy.

We are writing to you today with heavy hearts to share that this summer will be the final season for the Lowry Swim Club. We were notified by Stanley British Primary School after our last email to you that they will not be renewing our lease for the pool and surrounding area on their campus following the end of this season. We had hoped to continue the Lowry Swim Club for years to come, but we knew that Stanley has been evaluating its master plan since 2022 and their decision to not renew our lease came sooner than we had hoped.

Lowry Swim Club has operated on Stanley’s campus for approximately 25 years through a longstanding partnership that has enabled access to this space for our pool community. Over that time, this partnership has enabled thousands of summer memories and a tradition that has meant a great deal to many families.

As Stanley has grown and its needs have evolved, the school has determined that it will require full use of its property going forward. While this outcome is difficult – and we know it will be disappointing to many – it reflects Stanley’s focus on campus priorities and long-range planning rather than any single event or isolated decision.

Making Our Final Season Count

Our commitment to providing a "top notch" experience for our members remains unchanged. We are determined to make this final summer a celebration of the community we have built together. Between now and the end of summer 2026, our focus will be on:

• Opening Day: We still anticipate opening on Friday, May 22, at 3:00 pm.
• Final Day: Our tentative last day of the season will be Monday, September 7 (Labor Day).
• Events: All planned Movie Nights (June 12, July 10 and August 14) and holiday celebrations will proceed as scheduled.
• Swim Team & Lessons: Our swim coach will continue through this final season, and lessons will be offered as planned.

Membership and Dues

We hope you will join us for one final summer of soaking up the sun.

• Payment Deadline: Membership fees are still due by April 20, 2026.
• Registration: All members must still register or renew through the website at www.lowryswimclub.org.
• Technical Assistance: If you face issues with the registration process, please email info@lowryswimclub.org

While we are sad that our time at this location is coming to an end, we are grateful for the many memories the pool has provided over the years. Thank you for being part of Lowry Swim Club. We hope you’ll join us this summer and celebrate all that this community has created.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Lowry Swim Club is a private pool operated for the benefit of its members. The pool is open every year from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day.

The Swim Club features:

•  A casual, family atmosphere

•  A wonderful community of people from the surrounding neighborhoods

•  Separate adult and baby pools

•  A Competitive Swim Team

•  Group and Private Swim Lessons

•  Movies under the stars every second Friday of the month 

•  Gas grills and picnic tables

•  A Snack Bar for food and treats
